The Tulip Barn is a family-friendly tulip garden located in Hillegom, in the heart of the Dutch flower region De Bollenstreek. It features over 2 million tulips in 200+ varieties and allows visitors to walk freely among colorful displays, pose for stunning photos in creative setups, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
Visitors can take photos with props like vintage vehicles and interact with the vibrant fields. The Tulip Barn also features a greenhouse café and a sunny terrace for dining with refreshments. It runs from late March to early May — a true highlight of tulip season.

With over 2 million tulips, this is one of the most beautiful photo locations in the Netherlands. This garden is designed in a more playful way than Tulip Experience Amsterdam, which is clearly visible in the photos that visitors share. Because of this, the garden is also more fun for children.
Many areas feature children's play equipment, inflatable bouncing castles, and mini tractor racetracks, making it easy for every child to enjoy the visit. You can ride tractors here, and there are many fun activities for young children. A very nice place to visit with your young family.

The last bus leaves at 19:00, so you have the entire day. Combining with our Tulip Tours is difficult, as those depart from north of Amsterdam while this garden is in the south.
